It's very new, and for many very confusing. BitcoinHelp aims to rectify this. Whether it be explaining how it works, how to use it, how to buy Bitcoins, how to integrate Bitcoins into your business. Sharing your successes as well as failures in order to help others is also gladly received. Ask away!

Long time redditor and long timer Bitcoiner (not only, heh). I often browse Medium on random posts on the broad topic of cryptocurrency, there are some very interesting and rare insights. I mean, it is often full of sh*t, but there are some gems. I just stumbled upon extremely easy explanation, or as the author says overview of Bitcoin. I mean, I myself have spent a lot of time explaining Bitcoin to friends, relatives and random people. If I could go back in time, I can imagine taking that approach since it is just so easy. I hope somebody finds it useful too! https://medium.com/@balkanchain/bitcoin-explained-simply-fa689b2c57fc
Hello /bitcoin! I’ve decided to take a leap of faith and write a short book about Bitcoin. Who am I? Just some schmo, but I’ve written several articles on Bitcoin [see below], created a popular animation about it, am married to a BitPay employee, and my brother is the Operations Lead for OpenBazaar. So, I’ve been steeped in the Bitcoin world for a few years now. I’ve had several people ask me about Bitcoin, and I’ve found that there doesn’t seem to be a great introductory resource to share with the average Joe. Everything seems to be really technical, really biased, or poorly worded. So, I’ve decided to create a short, introductory book entitled, “What’s the Big Deal About Bitcoin?” And believe it or not, it’s going to answer the average Joe’s question, “What’s the big deal about Bitcoin?” Plenty of people have heard about the technology, but they don’t know what all the fuss is about, and they are unaware of the future possibilities. So, I want to provide a non-technical, conceptual explanation – not a “how-to” book, but rather a “what-is” book. I am trying to finish this project by the end of the year. For those that are interested, the book will cover four sections: I. What is Bitcoin? (simple explanation of what it is) II. What’s the Big Deal? (examples of its potential) III. Common Objections (clarifying and resolving the most common objections) IV. Real Challenges (what I see as legitimate criticisms and questions about Bitcoin) Obviously, it takes time to create such a book. Fortunately, my wife has a full-time job to support the majority of our expenses. Unfortunately, we still expect our savings to be diminished. So, I am trying to raise around 2BTC to break even over the next two months finishing this book. Even if I don’t raise 2BTC, I still intend to publish the book. We’d just eat a bit into our savings. If you’d like to support the project, I've posted my BTC address at: http://steve-patterson.com/new-bitcoin-book/ (Of course, if I had just taken my wife’s advice and bought Bitcoin with it was $10/BTC, I wouldn’t need to ask for money. But that didn’t happen.) Also, if anyone wants to share tips on self-publishing or writing books, please do share. This is my first book, so I have a lot to discover. Thank you, Bitcoiners. If you want to read some stuff I’ve already written, here are the articles: Bitcoin: Currency of Currencies The Beauty of Bitcoin Bank Runs The Arrogance of Dollars Is Bitcoin a Viable Currency? Bitcoin is Not Backed by Anything (And That’s OK!) And here’s the animation about Bitcoin I scripted and produced.
Simple explanation of how to claim Bitcoin SV that was on TREZOR at time of snapshot?
I see the answer that TREZOR gives here, however, I'm still unclear how to get my damn Bitcoin SV tokens in a wallet so that I can trade them, etc. Can someone please provide a more simple explanation or point me to a post/youtube video that explains in layman terms? Thank you. https://wiki.trezor.io/How_to_split_and_send_your_Bitcoin_Cash_forks
Simple explanation of what Bitcoin SV (BSV) is for Noobs
BitcoinSV is the only remaining implementation of Bitcoin that follows the original whitepaper, retains the original economics, original opcodes, and scales massively on chain to become global money. BTC blocksize is capped at 1mb. BSV has already mined 64mb blocks, can go to 128mb, and can process more transactions per second than XRP today. 512mb in May, 2gb next November followed by no limits and all with fractions of a penny for fees. Terabyte blocks are a reality and just the beginning. 5 billion people using and making 50 transactions per day is achievable. Simply put, SV is Bitcoin scaled to be the new money for the world. Cheers
If you have not read Satoshi Nakamoto's original paper on Bitcoin, please take the time do so before doing anything else Bitcoin related. It is only eight pages long and is simple yet elegant in its explanation of this amazing innovation.
